A tiny Montana town “where the Rockies meet the Plains” is the setting of this twisty thriller starring Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer, Billy Bob Thornton, John Malkovich, Bruce Dern, and Oliver Platt.

As seen here in the exclusive trailer for Cut Bank, Dwayne McLaren (Hemsworth) just happens to film the apparent murder of a local mailman (Dern), triggering an investigation that leads in unforeseen directions. As townspeople grow on edge, a strange man (played by an unrecognizable Michael Stuhlbarg, A Serious Man) grows increasingly desperate to find his parcel.

Who’s really the bad guy here?

To find out, watch Cut Bank, premiering exclusively on DirecTV Cinema Feb. 26, one-month prior to its April 3 theatrical release.

The 31-year-old actor was on The Tonight Show the evening before and chatted about getting his nails painted by his daughter and nieces. Jimmy Fallon showed a picture of his brother Liam out with his toes painted in a rainbow color scheme!

“My daughter and my nieces painted everybody’s nails, so I actually had my nails painted as well. It was around Christmastime,” Chris explained. “That’s what happens when you get a bunch of young girls together. They put lipstick on you and paint your face and paint your nails.”
